Best Rum Cake Ever

For all recipe collectors, this is the last time for BEST RUM CAKE EVER. It won’t be repeated, so get ready to hang on to this copy.

Ingredients

  • -- 1 or 2 quarts rum

  • -- 1 tsp sugar

  • -- 1 cup dried fruit

  • -- 1 tsp lemon juice

  • -- 3/4 cup walnuts

  • -- 1 cup butter

  • -- 2 large eggs

  • -- 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • -- 1 cup brown sugar


Instructions

Before you start, sample the rum to check for quality. It must not have too strong a molasses taste. Fill a glass to the brim and drink the run again to be sure it is just right. Now, select a large mixing bowl. With an electrikk mixer, beat 1 C butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 tsp of thugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure that the rum hasn’t become too warm. Drink another cup. Open a second quart if necessary. Add 2 arge legs, 2 C dried druit and beat till high. If druit gets stuck to beaters, just pry it loos-e with a drewscribver. Zample the rum again, checking for tonscisticity. Next, sift 3 C of pper or salt (Doesn’t matter). Sample rum, sift in choPPed butter and stained nuts. Ad 1 bblspon of bron sugar. Wix mel. Grease oven and turn cake pan to 350 gredes. Now, pour the whole mess into the coven and ake. Last check rum again. Bo to ged.
