Sugar Cookies
To roll, cut, and decorate!
Ingredients
-- 2 tsp baking powder
-- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
-- 1 cup sugar
-- 2 eggs
-- 1 tsp baking soda
-- 1/4 cup milk
-- dash of salt
-- 3 cups flour
-- 1 cup crisco or room temperature butter
-- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Sift the first 5 ingredients together. Cut in Crisco (or room temp butter) to flour mixture. Beat the eggs, add sugar, milk and vanilla, then beat to mix thoroughly. Mix with flour mixture. Roll and cut. Bake for 10 minutes.
