24-hour Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • -- 2 cups chopped tomatoes

  • -- 1 1/2 quart shredded lettuce, sprinkled with salt, pepper, and sugar

  • -- 2 cups mayo

  • -- 1 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

  • -- 1 red onion, chopped

  • -- 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

  • -- 10 oz. frozen peas, thawed and drained


Instructions

Put all ingredients in a large bowl with lettuce first, then tomatoes, peas, cheese, eggs, and onion, ending with the mayo spread evenly across the top.
